Lectures on the Theory and Practice of Homeopathy
A record of the lectures Dudgeon delivered to the Hahnemann Hospital School in London, 1852-53. Although this is a book on "Theory and Practice," it contains a very good account of Hahnemann's life, as well as numerous details about the historical development of potentization, and about the development of homeopathy in general. This is an invaluable read. Unfortunately, the original was small in size and in typeface, and the Indian reproductions are difficult to read because of poor copying and printing. However, it is well worth the effort to go through it. It gives a record of thought by one of the best writers in the field, and from a time which was just ten years after Hahnemann's death. It is the unvarnished beginning.
